 About School Counselors:  School Counselor : A School Counselor is a certified and professionally trained educator who provides academic, career, college readiness, and social-emotional support to students within a school setting. Mental Health Counselor: A Mental Health Counselor is a licensed professional who helps individuals, couples, and families manage and overcome emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges. They assess clients’ mental health conditions and develop personalized treatment plans to provide therapy for a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, stress, grief, and life transitions.
